Posting Summary:
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for a tenure-ineligible Assistant Professor position. The successful candidate will coordinate the rehabilitation care of inpatients at the UVA/HealthSouth Joint Venture Rehabilitation Hospital as well as developing outpatient clinic sessions for discharged patients. The candidate will also provide, on a rotational basis, night and weekend coverage.

An MD or DO is required, as is board-certification or board-eligibility by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The incumbent must be committed to a career in academic medicine and interested in combining clinical practice with resident education and/or research.
