University of Virginia Printing & Copying Services is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR). The CSR is the cornerstone for ensuring our customers are heard, understood, and taken care of throughout the job process. They ensure a first-rate experience with UVAPrint. CSR's gather print specs, relay job information, and ensure jobs flow through the shop and are delivered on time. They handle customer concerns, scheduling issues, etc.
Applicants must have a proven working knowledge of the following; printing production methods, terminology, direct mail, fulfillment, and a thorough working knowledge and understanding of web to print storefronts.
Exceptional communication skills are vital in this role as is a desire to work with customers to ensure that their needs are met. Must be able to effectively communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and upper management on a daily basis.
Must be able to multitask in a fast paced production environment where priorities change rapidly.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proven ability to deal effectively and professionally with a wide variety of customers and contacts from diverse backgrounds and educations. Working knowledge of current print production methods and technology, business mathematics, computer usage, and demonstrated knowledge of online storefront or MIS technology. Ability to handle multiple priorities. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail. A desire to please our customers and complete projects on time and on target.
