Posting Summary:
The University Library's Digital Production Group (DPG) is seeking a part-time Image Digitization Specialist to augment and complement the Library's student workforce on the McGregor Book Digitization Project. DPG has primary responsibility for building, managing, and preserving sustainable digital collections in a cost-effective and efficient manner. These collections directly support the teaching and research mission of the University's faculty and students.

The McGregor Grant Project Manager and the Manager of the Digital Production Group oversee the Project, which is halfway through the 3-year grant to digitize 75,000 images of McGregor Collection volumes and provide improved access to the McGregor Library's most significant printed holdings.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; ability to learn library workflow, digitization equipment, metadata standards and safe handling of rare materials. Ability to work well in a team environment.
