Posting Summary:
The Office of the University Registrar (UREG) at the University of Virginia is seeking to fill the position of Business Operations Administrator. This position includes managing UREG's Budget and Operational functions -- together these roles provide for all the Business needs of UREG. The person in this position is responsible for managing and maintaining all fiscal matters for UREG, adhering to the rules and regulations set forth by the University assuring compliance. This position also serves as the Managerial Administratior for UREG, fostering professional growth and a daily operating principle of "positive possibilities" for all UREG staff members. The person in this position must be self-directed to complete all aspects of the job in a professional manner adhering to sound business practices. The person in this position will serve as a participating member of UREG's Leadership Team contributing ideas, initiatives and information to suggest, promote and support growth and change as needed within the organization in an effort to plot UREG's future and to solve all issues as necessary. The person in this position will promote UREG's Vision, Mission, Guiding Principles and Core Values.
