 About the Position

The Lurie College of Education seeks highly qualified applicants for the newly created position of Director of Assessment and Accreditation.


The Director will be responsible for leading the collaborative development and implementation of a comprehensive and integrated system of program and student learning outcomes;  the coordination and implementation of Lurie-wide and disciplinary accreditation and licensure processes related to student success, including, WASC (Western Association for Schools and Colleges), CCTC (California Commission on Teacher Credentialing),  ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association), CAEP (Commission for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation), ACAE (Accreditation Commission of Audiology Education), state licensing boards (Board of Behavioral Science, and Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board); to work in collaboration with the faculty and academic programs to advance the College’s professional programs; and will lead and serve as Lurie’s primary resource in analyzing, synthesizing, and supporting accreditation, certification, and licensing programs.
