Assistant Professor Of Information Technology - Tenure Track
Assistant Professor of Information Technology, Tenure-Track, beginning August 2018. Ph.D. in IT or related field required at the time of appointment.
Candidates should be capable of teaching courses which include but are not limited to the following: Networking, Network Operating Systems, System Analysis and Design, Network Administration, Network Protocols and Network Security. Additionally, the candidate is expected to teach upper and lower level courses such as computer literacy
Mount Saint Mary College places a priority on excellent teaching, dedication to scholarship and student engagement, and service to the college and community. In addition to teaching 12 credit hours of course work each semester, faculty members are expected to maintain active participation in research, provide academic advisement for students, and be involved in college governance. The committee is looking for candidates who can demonstrate innovative teaching and an interest in undergraduate research.
