Position Summary: Governors State Universitya€™s College of Business seeks to hire a tenure track Assistant Professor of Management to teach courses including Strategic Management, International Business, Organizational Behavior and any other course assigned by the Division Chair. We seek candidates with outstanding teaching skills, interest in advising non-traditional or diverse student populations, evidence of a potential or distinguished record of scholarship consistent with tenure-track expectations, and professional service via projects, committees, or other leadership roles. Governors State University is the only regional, public, comprehensive university in Chicago's south suburban area, serving approximately 7,750 students annually. Minimum Qualifications: PhD, DBA or ABD near completion in Strategic Management, International Business or a related discipline Ability to conduct scholarly research and publish in academic journal Proven ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in strategy, international business and other management topics

Preferred Qualifications: Online teaching experience. record of quality research and publication in scholarly journals Professional or managerial experience Knowledge of AACSB accreditation requirements Academic degree from AACSB accredited school

Work Schedule: Nine-month faculty contract; summer teaching is optional, for additional compensation
