The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida College of Medicine is seeking candidates with a developing clinical research program in addiction science. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) non-tenure track faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level with research experience. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will have skills in multi-modal neurobehavioral assessment techniques and prior experience working with clinical populations and treatment systems. Documented evidence of productivity based on publications in appropriate peer-reviewed journals and scientific presentations are requisite. Successful competition for and/or evidence of a high probability for conduct of an externally funded program of research is also anticipated.Advertised Salary:
Negotiable and commensurate with experience.Minimum Requirements:
Doctoral degree or medical degree in a relevant discipline, and 3-5 years of postdoctoral experience.Preferred Qualifications:
Evidence for mentoring students and developing productive and collegial interactions with scientific and clinical colleagues will also be important considerations. As a faculty member in the College of Medicine, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in both independent and collaborative research programs, and contribute to graduate and medical education.Special Instructions to Applicants:
