Reporting directly to the President and serving on the President’s cabinet, this individual is responsible to develop and manage the preparation of the annual capital and operating budgets and audit for the College.  The College's operating budget is approximately $80 million.  Will direct and supervise the College's Finance, Facilities Operations, Auxiliary Operations, Legal Affairs, and Information Technology functions.  Responsible for the College's capital inventory, the investment portfolio, and all financial functions of the College.  Maintain the financial integrity of the institution.  Act as Chief Financial Officer of the College.    Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team to provide coordinated leadership and decision making for student success, academic, continuing and professional studies, advancement, and administrative operations.

Qualifications and Areas of Experience

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.  A minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible managerial experience in accounting and financial management.  Extensive knowledge of G.A.A.P.  Experience with and understanding of technology with proficiency in Excel and integrated financial/accounting systems.  Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and communications abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

A Juris Doctorate degree.  An active C.P.A. license.  Experience in fund accounting and G.A.S.B. requirements.  Experience in higher education finance.  Experience overseeing facilities/physical plant operations.  Experience in the management of information technology services.  Experience in the development and management of public/private partnerships.  Knowledge of Monmouth County and its communities.
