Essential functions of this position:
Interpret compliance requirements for diverse state and funded projects to ensure continuation of programming and funding. Analyze requirements of specialized programs for data and budgets, create spreadsheets, databases and paper files accordingly, to maintain and organize data into properly formatted reports for state and funding agencies and to make certain official licensure renewal credit documents meet award requirements and that they are processed accurately and forwarded to the appropriate state agency. To provide administrative assistance to the director. To manage and coordinate office operations and administrative processes such as:
•Office Support/Coordination
•Program Coordination
•Purchasing
•Records Administration/Generate reports
•Budget and Finance
•Other Duties as Assigned

N.C. Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

Additional knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the essential functions of the position:
Must have excellent computer skills with full knowledge of and experience in Microsoft Excel and Word as well as working knowledge of databases; advanced Excel knowledge
Must be well-organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks for complex projects
Must have excellent oral and written abilities and exemplar interpersonal skills
Must be an independent worker
Must be able to work with minimal supervision on multiple priorities and meet program/university deadlines
Must be a problem-solver, able to extrapolate information from domain to another
Knowledge of accounting practices or experience maintaining complex budgets essential

Preferred education, professional skills and experience:
Knowledge of Access is preferred
Ability to understand how schools function in terms of interacting with the STEM LC
Practical knowledge of programming logistics, particularly for student competitions and teacher workshops (who to contact on campus for payments, IDI, content delivery, etc); knowledge of departmental and university policies and procedures

Recruitment Range: $34,200 - $36,300
NC Salary Grade Equivalency: 61
Hours Per Week: 1.0 (40 hours per week)
Months Per Year: 12 Months
Work Days: Monday - Friday & Occasional Weekends
Work Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
