Marketing & Communications Fellow

The Marketing & Communications Fellow will be a key support in executing the marketing and communication strategies for the Office of the Arts.

Campus Location: Boston Campus

Required Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience Excellent writing and proof editing skills. The successful candidate will thrive working collaboratively but be able to problem solve independently. Highly organized, attention to detail Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Experience in the arts preferred, passion for the arts is required.

Preferred/Desirable Knowledge:
Experience in AudienceView ticketing platform a plus.

Required Prior Work Experience:
1-2 years of relevant experience

Job Duties:
  • Manages ArtsEmerson presence at special events and other promotional opportunities and manages street team efforts
  • Assists Director of Marketing & Communications with season media plans including collaboration with graphic designer on all media assets, promotions/trade vouchers and trafficking assets when approved
  • Assists with ArtsEmerson’s social media presence including content generation
  • Manages community outreach in support of season revenue goals
  • Assists with hiring of student workers and oversees payroll, schedules and priorities for the student team
  • Lead contact for ticket donation requests from community partners
  • Other duties as assigned to support Marketing & Communications team.
