Assistant Professor of TromboneJob Description:
Position: Full-time, 9 month, tenure accruing faculty position
Date of Expected Hire: August 16, 2018
Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in applied trombone/bass trombone. Maintain creative/scholarly and service contributions appropriate for a faculty member at a major university; and serve on university committees as assigned.Advertised Salary:

Applicants must hold a terminal degree or professional equivalency. Master’s degree required.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous teaching experience in higher education, public school teaching experience, and evidence of
scholarly research and publications and presentations, and/or professional level performance experience are
preferred, as is the ability to perform and teach in multiple musical styles.Special Instructions to Applicants:
