Academic advisors at Kennesaw State University are experienced professionals who provide advising services to current and incoming students. Primary responsibilities include assisting students with fulfilling Honors requirements, degree, and course selection; navigating the university's academic and co-curricular landscape; and fostering student success through retention, progression, and graduation initiatives. The The Honors advisor will advise students in groups and individually and will work with other Honors College faculty and staff on communication, advisement, and academic counseling related to Honors requirements? and KSU General Education requirements. The advisor will record each advising contact and will assist in maintaining student advisement records. Advisors also play a key role in supporting the transition of new and transfer students into the program through advisement and orientation sessions.

The advisor will advise and counsel Honors students on both the Marietta and Kennesaw campuses. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and have excellent communication skills.
