Job Description

Northern Virginia Remodeling, Design and Commercial flooring Company is looking for exceptional, qualified and experienced Office Manager. We are looking for an individual to organize and coordinate office operations and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.

  • Working Directly with CEO, VP , Operations Manager and Sales Managers of all divisions both residential and commercial
  • Oversee day to day operations and procedures and propose improvement as needed to management
  • In charge of implementing and enforcing of companywide SOP ( Standard Operating Procedure)
  • Delegate work to staff and maintain office staff's job results by coaching, counseling, planning, monitoring job results
  • Maintain office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees
  • Carry out staff appraisal, manage performance reviews and carry out the disciplinary action if need to be with management's approval
  • Oversee scheduling of meetings and appointments as well as staff business travels
  • Partner with HR to maintain office policies
  • Coordinate with IT vendor on all office equipment
  • Serve as the point person for all facility maintenance
  • Maintain relationship with service providers
  • Manage contract and price negotiation with office vendors and service providers
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
  • Manage and oversee filing system

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • Proven office management, administrative experience
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and priorities work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS office
