The University of Kentucky College of Dentistry is seeking applications for a full-time, tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in the Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology, Department of Oral Health Science. Responsibilities include teaching in the predoctoral and postdoctoral educational programs, participation in scholarly activity, direct patient care in the Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology Clinic, participation in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical Pathology Laboratory Service, and service to the College, University, and profession.

DDS or DDM from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)

Required Related Experience

Successful completion of a residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology from a CODA-accredited program

Required License/ Registration/Certification

Diplomate status of the American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Pathology, and ability to obtain unrestricted Kentucky dental license are mandatory.


The applicant must have the ability and strong desire to teach, consistently demonstrate scholarly activity, deliver direct patient care, actively participate in a busy surgical pathology service, and serve the University and profession.

Post-residency experience or education and a current Kentucky dental license are preferred.
