General Summary: The University of North Georgia invites applications for a ten-month, full-time lecturer to teach introductory biology for majors.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses including majors introductory biology and may also include teaching non-majors general biology as well as upper-level courses in applicant's field of study.


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • A Masters degree in biology or a related field with at least 18 hours of graduate level biology courses at the time of appointment is required; a Ph.D. or other terminal degree.
  • College teaching experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching is essential.
