Job Summary/Basic Function: Under general supervision, this position is responsible for providing customer service to students, faculty, and staff who walk-in, phone, and/or email inquiries; offer information concerning college services and information including but not limited to admissions, academic/registration procedures, advising services, TSI requirements, exemptions, residency, transcript, academic programs, and financial aid, etc.. Serve as a resource for co-workers.

Work Hours: Work schedule varies and may include evening and weekends.

Guides and assists students check admission, financial aid status and register on-line via "JagWire" System.

Guides and assists students applying for financial aid via the internet. Reviews and verifies that student-submitted financial aid related forms have been fully completed for processing. Maintains knowledge of current processes and procedures of financial aid. Guides, directs, answers questions, and resolves problems of students seeking financial aid program information and forms.

Reviews and verifies that student-submitted admission applications have been completed for application processing. Maintains knowledge of admission processes and procedures to adequately advise students of status.

Qualifications

Education

Necessary Qualifications: Associate's Degree

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree

Experience

Necessary Qualifications: 4 years in a higher education setting.

Preferred Qualifications: 4 years in higher education setting preferably in admissions, financial aid, and/or registrar environment.
