Integration Engineer (FACS)
We are seeking an Integration Engineer with proven experience working with the Ontario Systems FACS platform to be become an integral part of our team!
You will be responsible for creating software interfaces and account workflows requiring intermediate to advanced programming skills. This position will also require the ability to interact professionally with clients in person, over the phone, and via email. Some travel may be required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with external clients and internal stake holders to determine the scope and detail of projects.
• Execute full lifecycle software development
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Tailor and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics
• Serve as a subject matter expert
• Update job knowledge by studying programming techniques, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
• Perform other duties as assigned
BS in Computer Science or MIS is preferred.
At least five years of experience working with the Ontario Systems FACS platform in the areas of Enable, Event Tactics, Report Writer, Debtor Cash, and User Defined Windows is required.
COMMUNICATION/ TEAMWORK SKILLS
Be able to establish priorities and successfully complete multiple assignments. Ability to work effectively both independently and also as part of a team. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Be able to organize complex work assignments for multiple clients and assure timely and accurate service delivery. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be proficient with FACS, SQL, Enable, Report Writer, Event Tactics, and Debtor Cash. The ideal candidate will also have exposure to Cache, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and .NET.
Hardware and networking knowledge are a plus.
