The Department of English at Florida State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment in Rhetoric and Composition. The position is a 2/2 teaching assignment (two courses per semester) with one graduate course per year.


Applicants with expertise in composition, and secondary interests in digital composition, and/or multimodality, genre, and activity theory are encouraged to apply. Ph.D. must be in hand by beginning of appointment. Applicants should have a record of publication, prospects of future publication, and evidence of effective teaching.
