Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

Program Managers facilitate services and accommodations for students with mental health disabilities, Learning Disabilities, ADD, and autism. Designs, develops, and administers policies and programs for students with mental health disabilities. Evaluates programs to ensure that students receive appropriate accommodations in all areas of academic programs and student life. Maintains student records, compiles data on student progress, trends and usage of services. Advises Deans, Department Chairs, and other administrators on appropriate accommodations and works to resolve conflicts between students, faculty, and staff.
There are three vacancies available.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, School Counseling, Education and related field and 1-year related experience.

Eligible to sit for Certificate of Rehabilitation Counselor exam.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling, CRC, or other relevant certification, and experience providing services and accommodations for students with disabilities in higher education.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Working knowledge of ADA, Section 504, and FERPA. Good counseling and communications skills. Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, working knowledge of assistive technology, student management systems and MS Office
