The Department of Psychology at Florida State University (FSU) has a well-established, nationally recognized Master's Degree program in Psychology with a major in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) at our campus in Panama City, Florida (i.e., FSU Panama City). We also have a Bachelor's Degree program in Psychology, which includes courses in Clinical, Cognitive, Developmental, and Social Psychology as well as Neuroscience and ABA.
We invite applications for a 12-month, full-time, specialized, non-tenure track teaching faculty position with opportunities for promotion and multi-year contracts.
The FSU ABA Master’s program is accredited by the Behavior Analysis Accreditation Board (BAAB; part of Association for Behavior Analysis International) and it is a verified course sequence (VCS) for the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). The FSU ABA Master’s program is a non-thesis, 5-semester (39 credit hours) program consisting of core ABA courses, a 3-semester Practicum, and specialized courses in ABA applications across a variety of areas, including: Ethics, Autism, Performance Management/Supervision, Education, and Mental Health/Aging. All courses are offered face-to-face in technology-enhanced classrooms that connect the Panama City and Tallahassee campuses. This allows students and faculty to interact on both campuses (and in real time during class) and it also allows students to have access to an array of clinical practicum opportunities focused on behavioral treatment of autism and related disabilities in clinics, homes, and schools across both Tallahassee and Panama City communities.
The FSU ABA program was established in 1999 and has graduated nearly 250 students in the past 18 years. We attract high quality applicants from all over the US with good backgrounds in behavior analysis and who want to become professional behavior analysts.

Primary responsibilities are a) teaching in both the ABA Master’s Program and the undergraduate psychology program at FSU Panama City, b) serving as the Practicum Coordinator and the Verified Course Sequence (VCS) Coordinator for the ABA Master’s Program, c) recruiting and advising undergraduate and graduate students, and d) assisting with additional administrative duties in the undergraduate and graduate programs.
There will be formal affiliation with the Department of Psychology at FSU in Tallahassee, and the position begins in Fall of 2018 (with the potential to start earlier if circumstances warrant it). For more information about the FSU Psychology Department, please visit https://psy.fsu.edu/.
