Degree and Area of Specialization:
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited doctoral program and APA-accredited internship.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Psychologist is required. Experience that includes the assessment and treatment of substance disorders is preferred.
License or certificate:
Licensure or eligibility for Licensure as a Psychologist in Wisconsin and eligible for listing in the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
The Clinical Psychologist will provide clinical counseling, support for fellow, resident and medical student education, and support for research.
The qualified candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to maintain and convey a positive attitude and customer service approach to program development and presentation, ability to participate in program development and outcome evaluation efforts, ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate with health professionals from all disciplines and the ability to provide Health Psychology consultation for practicing psychologists, professionals, learners, family members and patients.
There is the potential to be an independent investigator with appropriate experience.
