Job Summary/Basic Function:
Assistant Professor of Rhetoric and Composition Studies
The Department of English at the University of North Texas invites applications for a tenure-track position in Rhetoric and Composition Studies at the rank of Assistant Professor. Area of specialization is open. Desirable research interests include but are not restricted to: cultural rhetorics, rhetorics of race and ethnicity, rhetorics of gender and sexuality, and others. The position typically carries a 2/2 teaching load, with opportunities to teach upper-division courses in rhetoric and writing studies. We offer a competitive salary and generous travel support. Appointment will begin Fall 2018.
