Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
-5 to 7 years related experience required.
-Demonstrated experience supervising and/or in a leadership position.
-Proven success with human resource management skills, preferably including experience in employee relations, compensation, recruitment, dispute resolution, organizational development, operational management, and program/project management.
In collaboration with the Associate Dean of Human Resources, Equity, and Inclusion, this position is responsible for developing and implementing the business partner model in the School of Medicine and Public Health. This key leadership position will be responsible for developing a strategic approach for the HR service delivery needs of SMPH; providing education and training to HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and managers, benchmarking current policies, processes, trends and practices in HR service delivery; driving change management; utilizing HR analytics to optimize customer service and assisting with key projects. As a senior HR professional, the successful candidate will leverage their deep HR knowledge to effectively collaborate with SMPH HR leadership to implement human resource strategies that support HR objectives and the missions of SMPH. This position supervises six HR service delivery teams comprised of managers and approximately 30 HR business partners. The incumbent will operate in the place of the Associate Dean as needed.
