Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor - Department of Comprehensive Care
Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Dental Medicine Department is inviting applications for an Experienced Clinician interested in a compensated half-time position focusing on the clinical training of third and fourth-year dental students. The appointment is at an Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor level in the Department of Comprehensive Care. The applicant’s teaching responsibilities will include managing a clinical practice group of 3rd & 4th year DMD Students, providing clinical teaching as well as didactic teaching to include facilitating Evidence-based literature seminars.
Qualifications include a DDS/DMD and eligibility for licensure in Ohio. A minimum of ten (10) years clinical practice is required, or evidence of advanced education and/or training. Teaching experience is preferred. Candidates applying for consideration at a rank of an Assistant Professor should demonstrate a record of previous teaching experience and scholarly activity, and/or post doctorate training from an accredited program such as a specialty training. Candidates who are general dentists without additional advanced training and who have no previous teaching experience will be considered for the rank of Instructor. Evaluation of applicants will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
