Middle Georgia State University is seeking two candidates to fill the position of Assistant Professor of Biology for the School of Arts and Sciences in the Department of Natural Sciences on the Macon and Cochran, GA. campus locations to begin Fall 2018.  The position involves teaching, scholarship, and service. Teaching responsibilities may include day and/or evening, lower level and/or upper level biology courses. Two positions are available. Travel from base campus to another campus (Macon, Warner Robins, Cochran, and Dublin, GA) may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should have a PhD in a biological science or related area, with special attention given to the following area of expertise: anatomy and physiology. Candidates must have a record of teaching and the potential for scholarship that warrants appointment at the rank of assistant professor. Candidate selected for employment will be subject to a background check.
