Assistant Professor of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics of Mount Holyoke College invites applications for a tenure-track position in mathematics at the Assistant Professor level to begin in fall 2018. Qualifications include a PhD in mathematics (completed or anticipated), a commitment to teaching and scholarship in a liberal arts environment, and evidence of classroom effectiveness.
We seek candidates who have a demonstrated record of strong teaching at the undergraduate level, who will be successful mentoring students who are broadly diverse with regard to race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, and religion. Members of the department are active in both research and curriculum development and teach two courses per semester.
