Job Summary: The Department of Clinical and Administrative Pharmacy is seeking an outstanding candidate to join our faculty to provide leadership in clinical practice, teaching and scholarly activity. The position is a non-tenure track appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor. Practice Focus: Special consideration will be given to candidates with the ability to develop and maintain clinical practice and scholarship in pediatrics. Practice site will be located at the Children's Hospital of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Position Description: The primary duties of the faculty member include development and maintenance of an active clinical practice site, experiential and didactic teaching of pharmacy students, precepting in the ASHP-accredited PGY-1 residency and PGY-2 pediatric residency programs, participating in scholarship and be actively engaged in citizenship to the college. The Augusta program is located on the site of the Augusta University Health System Campus, including AU Medical Center and The Children's Hospital of Georgia. This campus has colleges of medicine, nursing and other health care training programs. Augusta is ideally situated near the Savannah River on the border of Georgia and South Carolina, 100 miles from the main University of Georgia campus and within easy access to coastal areas, and mountains. Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Pharm.D. degree and have completed one year residency or post-doctoral training. The successful candidate must become licensed to practice in the state of Georgia. Salary is negotiable and will be based on qualifications. Preferred Qualifications: Specialty or PGY-2 residency training and board certification are preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
