WPI invites applications for tenure track (open rank) Professor positions with a research focus in Computer Science to begin in the Fall of 2018.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Computer Science Department anticipates hiring multiple tenure-track faculty for the Fall of 2018 whose expertise is in the following areas:

    1) Human-Computer Interaction;
    2) Visualization and Visual Analytics;
    3) Dependable Software Systems; and
    4) Algorithms, particularly with expertise that may be complementary to interdisciplinary programs in Bioinformatics, Data Science and Learning Science.

    Positions in Robotics, Interactive Media and Game Development, and Computational Neuroscience need to be applied for separately.

    Position Requirements

  • In addition to these specific areas, outstanding candidates in any area will receive full consideration. Candidates should have a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field, as well as the potential for excellence in research and teaching.
