Proven experience and expertise in advanced ablation techniques for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia with a demonstrated commitment to innovative clinical research.
Responsibilities & Requirements: The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine is looking to hire a clinical electrophysiologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to perform advanced ablation techniques for artrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. Stony Brook University Medical Center is a >600 bed tertiary care medical state-of-the-art facility, located on the north shore of Long Island, providing cardiovascular care to the 1.4 million residents of Long Island. Long Island provides a variety of living environments ranging from a cosmopolitan style/big city amenities to suburban/small town feel with top notch school systems and quality of life.
Special Notes: Tenure/Non-Tenure Track. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.
