Position Summary • Provide leadership as it relates to the department’s overall mission, goals, and objectives. • Provide leadership and coordination of Relationship Violence and Sexual Misconduct concerns as it relates to student conduct • Consult with campus partners and community members on issues related to student conduct and conflict resolution. • Oversee the administration of the University - wide student conduct system which focuses on the relationship violence and sexual misconduct policy. • Consult with faculty, staff, and students regarding behavioral issues. • Serve on the Title IX Coordinated Response Team (TCRT). • May serve as an ex-officio member of the University Committee on Student Affairs. • Provide general direction for the practicum program in student conduct.  • Assist the Assistant Vice President on matters related to the position and major procedural concerns.   • Prepare periodic reports on relevant programs, services, and activities. • Participate on various university work teams as assigned.  • Manage updates to the Relationship Violence and Sexual Misconduct policy. • Maintain related website materials.  • Others duties as assigned. Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing one or two years of post- bachelor degree work, such as a Masters in Student Affairs Administration, Developmental Psychology, Educational Psychology or Counselor Education; five to eight years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in developing and implementing programs, policies and procedures and supervising and coordinating staff; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications Training and experience with Title IX practices, policies and job processes. Master's degree, JD, or advanced degree in relevant field; experience in higher education; experience in a compliance related role; experience in training and professional development program delivery; experience with Advocate software; ability to build consensus; ability to collaborate and work with broad numbers of, and diverse, campus and off-campus partners; adherence to deadlines and excellent written and verbal communications skills; prior experience with successfully, independently and effectively managing an active case load; excellent work ethic and high level of motivation and productivity.     Required Application Materials
