Assistant or Associate Professor in Accounting

Job Summary:

The School of Management at the University of San Francisco seeks applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant or associate professor starting in Fall 2018 in the field of accounting. We seek applicants with strong potential for high quality teaching, research and service that ideally have some relevant industry experience in the area.

Job Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the School of Management. The candidate will also be expected to undertake scholarly research in a collaborative and supportive environment that welcomes interdisciplinary and practice-oriented scholarship as well as discipline-based and theoretical work. The candidate will also be expected to participate in appropriate outreach and service activities.

Minimum Requirements:

A successful candidate must meet the following minimum qualifications: (1) an earned doctorate (Ph.D.) in accounting from an AACSB-accredited school by the time of appointment; (2) an established or emerging research program; and (3) an expectation of, or clear record of, excellence in teaching.
