Under the supervision of the Director of Event Services and Campus Center Operations, the Coordinator of Event Services is responsible for the following:

  • Evaluate, schedule, and coordinate facilities and support services for campus-wide events. Serve as liaison to venue managers and support service providers.
  • Develop logistical plans and schematic drawings for events.
  • Create, design, and manage the scheduling of announcement on the exterior LED signs and on the Campus television messaging system.
  • Assist with editing and managing content and images on the University web event calendar(s).
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate a student marketing intern/assistant.
  • Compile, evaluate, and interpret assessment information.
  • Assist with on-site event management.
  • Represent the Office of Event Services and Campus Center Operations on various committees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Director, Director, Associate Dean of Students, Dean of Students, or Vice President for Student Affairs.
  • Demonstrate, through past accomplishments and actions, the ability to support Stockton University’s diversity commitment and strong student-centered vision and mission.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A master’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • One year of full-time, professional experience in the area of event management is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with facility scheduling in a higher education setting is preferred.
  • Experience with graphic design is preferred.
