Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Graduate Legal Studies, the Assistant Director of Enrollment Management manages admission and communication operations for the law schools LLM and Master's degree programs and related certificates. The Assistant Director works closely with the Assistant Dean to implement a recruitment and financial award strategy. The Assistant Director advises and counsels students prior to matriculation and collaborates closely with colleagues who support the law schools non-JD programs.

Essential Functions

  • Manage enrollment operations for the law schools LLM and Master's degree programs and related certificates.
  • Develop tactical enrollment plan that leverages resources to obtain program goals and attract excellent students.
  • Review applications and make admission and scholarship decisions.
  • Develop and use business-relevant data analysis to meet enrollment goals.
  • Leverage data and metrics to continually inform and shape enrollment strategy.
  • Create and execute recruitment communication and yield activities including new student orientation programs.
  • Counsel prospective and current applicants on admission procedures and requirements.
  • Provide academic, financial, and personal counseling for admitted students and advise on course selection.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university or college.
  • 3 years of progressively responsible experience in legal or higher education administration experience or other relevant field.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to navigate a variety of technology platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related filed.
  • Experience in an admissions office at a higher education institution.
  • Strong skills in numerical and statistical analysis; facility with complex data analytics.
  • Working knowledge of the Banner system, LSAC ACES2, and Slate.
  • Experience in an admissions office at a higher education institution.
  • Fluency in a second language. Spanish, Chinese, French, or Russian preferred.
