The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of urologic oncology and minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic and robotic). Responsibilities include surgical and non-surgical care of patients (male and female) with general urological complaints; teaching of medical students and urology residents; and clinical research. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. They must also be certified by the American Board of Urology or eligible to take Part 2 of the certifying process.

The clinical practice for this position will be housed primarily at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, with additional clinical time at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. The successful applicant will have completed a residency in Urology. He/she will have demonstrated expertise in all areas of outpatient and inpatient urology, with special facility in the evaluation and management urologic oncology. He/she will also be expected to have a research focus within that field.
