Job Summary

This Work Study position will assist the Windsor Campus administration team by acting as a greeter/receptionist for the Public Safety Institute and completing general office duties in support of the campus. Main duties include:

1. First point of contact for students and community entering the Public Safety Institute.
2. Provide information and direct students, faculty, staff, and community members to the appropriate locations on the Windsor Campus
3. Help with events including room and food setup, distributing materials to students and community members, and staffing booths or tables as needed in the building or at events in the community
4. Assist with Windsor Campus tours
5. Stocking of office supplies
6. Regularly check classroom supplies and equipment. Refill/replace supplies and report issues as needed
7. Complete data entry and other computer projects
8. Other projects as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

1. Ability to assist the public in a professional and pleasant manner
2. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
3. Experience with Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel
4. Confidentiality required
5. Ability to perform duties with limited supervision once trained
6. Must be punctual and must follow a work schedule assignment
