Job Summary

Provides academic support for enrolled Aims students through study skill instruction including, but not limited to, time management, active reading and note taking techniques, study methods, test-taking techniques, etc. through drop-in, individual, group and workshop formats.
- Provides tutoring with limited supervision
- Provides tutorial support for academic success skills at the college level
- Communicates with tutor supervisor
- Promotes student and/or faculty use of instructional support resources


Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a part/full-time basis.

-Documented two-year degree from a regionally accredited institution or its equivalent (junior level status at a college or university)
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students and colleagues.
-Tutoring, teaching, and/or ESL experience helpful.
- Background in demonstrated successful study skills helpful.
