Job Summary

This position provides a variety of support in the Adult Education and ESL/IELP department.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following activities:
Data entry; filing; photocopying; inventory; distribution of documents and reports campus-wide; various computer projects using Microsoft Office, Google Drive, etc.; assisting with internal and external inquiries in-person, over the phone, or by email; other duties as assigned.


Functional Attributes of Job Duty

Periods of extended computer use or safely moving items less than 25 pounds may be required.


Minimum Qualifications

Some proficiency in keyboarding & Microsoft Office (Excel/Word); Must be detail oriented; The ability to work in (at times) a noisy and chaotic setting; A desire to assist staff and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.


Preferred Qualifications

Previous customer service experience; Previous office/clerical experience; Excellent organizational and time management skills; Ability to work alone and perform duties with limited supervision while working productively; Flexibility to move among differing and ongoing projects on a daily basis as directed by student traffic and the needs of the department.


Work Hours
Work Hours: Varies - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. dependent on student class schedule
