Job Summary

1. Provide academic support to current students by tutoring in the drop-in lab or through scheduled individual or group appointments.
2. Offer appropriate instructional materials and help students develop good study skills and strategies.
3. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of tutoring sessions.
4. Communicate with subject-area faculty as well as the tutoring supervisor to ensure use of appropriate tutoring methodologies.
5. Communicate with the Impact Programs staff regarding student issues and concerns.


Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a part/full-time basis.
1. Documented course completion with a grade of A or B in College Algebra or equivalent courses.
2. Letter of recommendation from mathematics faculty.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students and colleagues.
