The Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, Department of Pediatrics, seeks a board eligible/board certified general pediatrician to join its full-time faculty.  Academic rank commensurate with experience. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Direct patient care, with a busy outpatient setting
  • Teaching medical students and residents
  • Attendance at c-sections, some of which may be high risk
  • Performing circumcisions
  • Participation in newborn nursery coverage, with 1:4 nursery call
  • Participation in 1:4 night, weekend and holiday call

Successful candidates will have a proven history of excellent clinical skills, involvement with clinical research, and strong desire to be involved with resident teaching.

Minimum Requirements  

  • Medical degree, Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Pediatrics.
  • Must be eligible to obtain medical licensure from the states of Georgia and South Carolina

Academic rank, tenure status and salary to be commensurate with qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
