The Department of English and Humanities is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach FCO105: Rhetorical Communication. FCO105 builds upon the students’ experiences in York College’s First-Year Seminar to help our student become thoughtful and proficient written, visual, and oral communicators. The FCO105 program is especially interested in candidates who have experience teaching and supporting English as a Second Language (ESL) students at the college level and/or have experience teaching developmental writing.

Requirements:

A successful candidate will have a Master’s degree or higher in Composition and Rhetoric, English, Communications, or Education as well as teaching experience at the college level in a first-year writing or communication studies classroom.
