Assistant Professor of Law

The University of Illinois College of Law invites applications for positions at the rank of Assistant Professor of Law to begin August 16, 2018 (negotiable).

This is a full-time, nine-month, tenure track position with the possibility of renewable contracts until tenure. This individual will teach 10 credit hours per year from a list of courses most likely to include: property, corporate finance, securities regulation, banking law, patent law, constitutional law, and/or tax law.

Applicants must have a J.D. or Ph.D. degree or their equivalent, a strong academic record, and a record of scholarly distinction or great scholarly promise. Salary, rank, and tenure status are negotiable depending upon qualifications and experience.
