Project Manager I
Department: Corr Mgmt Institute of Tx (CMIT)
Educational and Experience Requirement: Minimum of Master’s Degree in related field with strength in research methodology and familiarity with current issues in related field of study. Minimum of five years experience professional management or equivalent in related project area. Direct experience with specialty courts preferred. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities.
Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for direct supervision of the Specialty Court Resource Center, including overall responsibility for the administration of the specific project; maintain liaison work with agencies and governments related to the specific project. Responsible for the development, evaluation, and effectiveness of the project(s). Performs other related duties as assigned.
Important contacts with other university departments, state and federal agencies, and outside vendors.
This is a grant funded position. Continuation of the position is contingent upon continued funding.
