Assistant Professor (Economics)
The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2018.

The Economics Department (http://www.emich.edu/economics) is located in the College of Arts and Sciences and offers several undergraduate and master's degrees. EMU is a comprehensive state university with an enrollment of approximately 24,000 students and offers a competitive salary and an outstanding benefits package.
Applicants' primary field must be in applied microeconomics and should be willing to teach applied econometrics and one or more of the following courses: public economics, industrial organization, urban economics, health economics, and economic statistics. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in economics completed by August 31, 2018.
Applications must be received by November 30, 2017. Review of applications will begin October 15, 2017 and continue until the position is filled. Selected applicants will be interviewed at the ASSA Meetings in Philadelphia.
