FULL-TIME LECTURER IN EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY, Department of Health Sciences (9862/I2517)
Boston University’s College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College invites applications for a full-time Lecturer (non-tenure track) position to join the Human Physiology program in the Department of Health Sciences. This is a 9-month appointment with the possibility of summer instruction. The position will start in January 2018. We are looking for a colleague who will help us to continue building on the College’s tradition of excellence.
Lecturers at Boston University are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate students and participate in service. This faculty member will be responsible for managing clinical practicum placements for undergraduate students in Human Physiology and for teaching Exercise Physiology, Cardiopulmonary Pathophysiology, and/or other related courses. A successful candidate will have demonstrated skills in classroom instruction at the college/university level. Applications from candidates who have dual training and expertise in exercise and nutrition sciences will also be considered.

- A doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Exercise Physiology or a closely related field
- Teaching experience at the college/university level is required
- Experience managing practicum placements is desired
- Strong communication skills and a desire to mentor undergraduate and graduate student.
