Position Summary:  The Department of English at Gettysburg College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in post-1900 global Anglophone literature, with specialization in the literature of Africa, South Asia, and/or the Caribbean, beginning August 2018. The six-course teaching load includes courses in the candidate’s specialty as well as first-year writing.

Qualifications:     A Ph.D. in English or comparable field by time of appointment is required.  The successful candidate will have a strong research agenda, be committed to the teaching of undergraduates, and contribute to the diversity of our curriculum and/or community.
