Assistant Director of Athletic Facilities
Hofstra University, an NCAA Division I institution and a member of the Colonial Athletic Association is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Assistant Director of Athletic Facilities. This is a full-time, 12-month position that serves the function of assisting with the overall organization and administration of Hofstra’s athletic facilities. Responsibilities include supervision of facilities department staff, event coordination, game management and facility maintenance, as well as the scheduling of athletic events and outside rentals. This position will represent the department of athletics and specifically the area of athletic facilities when interacting with other university departments including Physical Plant, Public Safety, Conference Services, the School of Continuing Education, Campus Dining and any other campus entity or outside rental organization.
Evening and weekend hours are required.
Bachelor’s degree required; requirements also include experience in field of facilities management; knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
