Director of Marketing and Communications
We invite applications for the Director of Marketing and Communications at New College of Florida.
New College of Florida, the designated honors college of the State University System of Florida, is embarking on a period of unprecedented growth. The Director of Marketing and Communications will have an exciting opportunity to define the brand and expand the profile of New College both locally and nationally.
Reporting to the President, the Director is a member of the senior leadership team and works collaboratively with the campus community, the external community, and the media to heighten the visibility of the College and its achievements. The Director oversees a team of professionals, contractors, student workers and interns. The Director will have the advantage of a new strategic plan to guide his or her work with the Offices of Admissions and Financial Aid, Advancement, and the President.
The successful candidate will have a master’s degree in a related field, management experience, and significant professional experience in higher education. It is essential that the Director be able to manage and work as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated portfolio of marketing and communications success, and experience building a brand.
