Basic Function:
The Associate Technology Specialist will assist the Director of Business Systems in the testing, implementation and support of electronic tools required to operate the division. Special emphasis will be placed on the reporting and optimization of our corporate and online outreach. The position will also perform day-to-day support of the back-office processes that keep the division running smoothly.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • • Assist the Corporate and Professional Education team in maintaining and reporting of annual graduate and professional development program forecasts.
    • Track, monitor, and maintain data quality in high volume communications and information environment. Must be able to research, interpret, analyze, and present information in concise and appropriate formats.
    • Perform regular processes related to the Banner Student Information System, including but not limited to: identifying and reducing duplicate entities, creating and maintaining course and student records, creating and maintain billing records, and merging/sorting/importing/de-duplicating large datasets.
    • Perform regular reporting from Banner, Salesforce, and other systems to support outreach efforts, enable business intelligence, and report to third-party agencies.
    • Work closely with divisional resources to ensure that email templates and related outreach collateral are available and up to date.
    • Assist Business Systems team in creating and editing documentation and training materials.
    • Provide technical support to end users when necessary.
    • Evaluate sales operational processes and policies and suggest more enhancements and improvements to processes and/or related tools.
    • Perform quality assurance testing and evaluate impact of externally-imposed changes (such as cloud-based service upgrades) to divisional systems and processes.

    Position Requirements

  • • Must be proficient in MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access). Exceptional technical and computing abilities, including applications such as Banner or Salesforce.com, preferred.
    • Minimum of five years’ experience in customer relations, sales, customer service or related experience.
    • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Administrative experience at a college or university desired.
    • Proven ability to work effectively at multiple levels within the business and academic community.
    • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
