Position Summary

The Center for New North Carolinians (CNNC) is committed to advancing the capacity of immigrants and refugees by building bridges between immigrant populations and existing communities throughout the state of North Carolina. This is done via community-based outreach and advocacy, educational programming, research and evaluation, immigrant and refugee leadership development, cultural brokering, and educational opportunities for faculty and students. This position will over see the refugee health activities under the Immigrant Health Project. The purpose is to coordinate the program and work closely with providers including the Guilford Community Care Network (GCCN), integrated health care clinics, refugee resettlement agencies and other community organizations that provide integrated care for uninsured refugees in the greater Greensboro area.



Minimum Qualifications

A Master's degree in Health or Social Sciences in a related field and 3 years experience or Bachelor degree in Health or Social Sciences related field with a minimum of 5 years experience. Must have experience working with local immigrant and refugee groups and community based research related to identification of best practices with immigrant and refugee needs. Must be fluent in written and spoken English as well as another language.
